This would really be one of my unforgettable moment for the year 2013. Being a part of the song writing competition- ASOP, A Song Of Praise. 

I wrote the song last December 14, 2012 which I entitled "YOU". The day that I finished composing it, I instantly let Dr. Mon del Rosario check it and he rated it 9 over 10. But then time came I was really about not to join the competition because of we are so busy which I can't concentrate to the song that I composed which I needed to arrange the lyrics for it is not enough for the melody of the song. I also felt sad that I can't join the ASOP movers because I was one of the composer in the competition. I really felt ashamed to join the competition because for me, the song that I wrote was not yet good enough to join the competition but then I still try to continue arranging the lyrics even though I really find it hard to arrange it because I was really hesitating already to join the competition. I know I'm not a professional writer but I'm really sensitive when it comes to writing, that's why.

The day the competition started, I was already crying since from the first song that was interpreted by the second year Mass Communication student until I was called in the stage after Joanne Canja interpreted the song that I composed. It's really funny that I cried but then after the competition I was surprised to know from B.Richard Rivera and Rogelio Lagutang that our song was in the 4th place out of 11 songs.

I really felt happy after all. It was really not a competition. It's the time wherein I had expressed out to the people how much I praise and love God. After the competition I really intended to give thanks to the people who pursued and help me to finish the song of praise which I wrote but then after all I THANK GOD for everything, for his guide, still TO GOD BE THE GLORY.
